The Every Student Succeeds Act, IDEA, and the Office of Civil Rights require meaningful parental engagement in a language parents understand. In this session, district and building administrators will experience how TransACT Parent Notices’ new SIS integration feature can be used to connect with families on their mobile devices with the push of a button.

Participants will explore the multiple libraries and languages available, not only to meet requirements, but for a variety of purposes to meet your school goals. The NDE recognizes the importance of parent communication and has contracted with TransACT Parent Notices to provide the initial setup and first year of SIS integration to Nebraska schools and districts in addition to the notification letters that have been provided to you for the past several years.
